DIAA members are invited to attend a free, practical, two-hour seminar on chemistry of milk testing presented by US experts Jackie Page & Torben Pedersen. The seminar will be held at 10 am on Friday, 3 February, at CSIRO Food and Nutritional Sciences in Werribee.

The DIAA is committed to fostering a culture of professional development, and as such the DIAA Victorian Division will be sponsoring one DIAA member from Victoria to attend Anuga FoodTech 2012, the international trade fair for food and drink technology, in Cologne, Germany, on 27-30 March 2012.

The 6th Anuga FoodTec is one of the world’s most important trade fairs for the food and drink industry. It will be a valuable marketplace for all those who want to present their solutions and products to a global audience of trade visitors.

DIAA Victorian Division hosted a gourmet BBQ and drinks on Tuesday, 13 December 2011, 7-10 pm, at Riverland Bar, Vault 1-9, Federation Wharf, Melbourne (under Federation Square, on the bank of the Yarra). For photos from the night, head to the DIAA Photo Album.

The annual DIAA Victorian State Conference will take place on 17 May in Melbourne. The winners of the 2012 DIAA Victorian Dairy Product Competition will be celebrated at the conference luncheon. More details, as well as registration forms, will be posted here as they become available.
