The WA DIAA Division hosts a range of events throughout the year, including an annual awards dinner, technical seminars, golf days and social events. The Division also conducts an annual technical dairy product comptition.

DIAA WA Dairy Manufacturing Travelling Scholarship

The aim of the Scholarship is to provide an opportunity for dairy factory staff, who would not otherwise get the opportunity, to broaden their experience through observation and travel. The Scholarship is primarily directed at factory staff level, but not necessarily from the production floor.

DIAA WA Professional Development Subsidy

The executive of the DIAA WA Division has allocated funds in 2010 to assist one or several member of the dairy industry with their professional development. This professional development subsidy will be awarded periodically at the discretion of the DIAA WA State Division executive committee.

The subsidy is not limited to any particular professional discipline within the dairy industry. For more information on how to apply please download the Professional Development Subsidy form (pdf 466kb).

Join the WA Executive

The WA Division invites DIAA members to join its Executive committee. Committee members are the driving force behind the DIAA, helping brainstorm member benefits, organise events and guide the direction of the DIAA. To find out more, contact Peter McGuire on 08 9302 4000.
