The DIAA and the Australian Microbiological Society are hointly hosting the 2010 Dairy Science World Series (DSWS) on dairy microbiology at the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne.
'Dairy microbiology – the good, the bad, the issues' will cover three main topics: beneficial bacteria (starter cultures, probiotics), harmful bacteria (pathogens, starter culture inhibitors) and issues related to microbes (sampling, raw milk, new process equivalents, product recalls).
The much anticipated DSWS Dinner, sponsored by Chr. Hansen, will take place on 11 August at The Waterfront Room at Level 1, 427 Docklands Drive, Docklands.
