The DIAA promotes education and training in the dairy industry and awards a number of scholarships every year that reflect the DIAA’s continuing commitment to the industry’s future. They include tertiary education and travelling scholarships.

Adrian Turton Memorial Scholarship
The Adrian Turton Memorial Scholarship is available annually to DIAA members wishing to undertake a course of study relevant to the dairy industry and conducted by a recognised tertiary institution.
Australian Dairy Manufacturing Scholarship
The Australian Dairy Manufacturing Scholarship was established to provide an opportunity for potential key people in dairy factories, who would not otherwise get the opportunity, to broaden their experience through observation and travel. This scholarship is open only to DIAA members. The scholarship is primarily directed at the factory operative level, but not necessarily the production floor.
